I Want to Do Bad Things to You

I Want to Do Bad Things to You is a set of 5 color photographs documenting the scratches, bites and bruises left on my skin after sex with a partner. The images force the viewer to confront how quickly tenderness can mutate into violence—and back again—inside the same moment. The sequence argues that passion, love and aggression are not isolated emotions but neighbouring states on a single continuum; learning to read your own body is the key to recognising where one ends and the next begins.
